Marry Me?

The most precious girl in the world came up to me the other day with Cinderella shoes, a princess tiara, a freshly picked rose and chap stick and said "Mommy? Will you marry me?" aww. I sweetly explained that Daddy and I are married but that she will always be my little princess. These are the moments life is made of.

Mr. Destructo

Jake loves to rip up, tear up, open up, dig, sit on, drool on, and eat ANYTHING he can get his cute lil' chubby hands on. Here is the act I caught him doing in the back yard while playing with Emma, who had just moment before picked me a couple of roses...
Just as I was about to take a picture of the two roses, these chubby fingers came into my viewfinder...
He shook it a few times...

tossed it around and pulled the petals off...

and crawled away satisfied that he had completely destroyed the rose Emma picked for me...

Cute as these pictures are, it is impossible to take your eye off this boy! You just never know what he will get into of next!

cute lil' pocket book

Isn't this CUTE? It is so little and simple... and sweet! I got the idea off of the creating keepsakes gallery! To give you an idea of the size - each little page is meant for a credit card. I contemplated the ribbon tags that hang out the side but I am so glad I did them now. This is for Aaron's mom ~ since we missed her birthday! So see, it's not just you that I forget about (that's just a blanket statement to everyone!!! ha)! I will ask God one day why he didn't bless me with much of a memory. But for now, here's Grandma Gayle's new little brag book...

*L*O*V*E* at first sight

Yard sales... it's a thrill, an adrenaline rush, a treasure hunt like none other. I'm on a mission to beat everyone else to that one perfect find... it doesn't happen on every outing. In fact it's a once a summer kind of find. Well I hit the jackpot... on my way back from church {GASP} I couldn't help but follow this one fundraising yard sale sign (usually this is a friday morning thing for me) ... I decided I would just drive by and probably not get out since it was late and they seemed to be packing up things anyway. And there, in the back I saw it. I thought 'Oh I'm sure they are just using it to set something on'.. but then I saw a little paper waving in the wind with a price... a price... of FIVE DOLLARS, are you KIDDING ME? I jumped out with Emma in tow. The lady said, 'That old thing? Three bucks and it's yours!' How fabulously golden my treasure is! I knew just where it was going, the new home for my scrap-nook :) Now I just need to organize my things, and find a gorgeous new knob that has some bling. Aww, it was love at first sight for $3.00 dollars.

bbq fun

We headed over to have a BBQ with mom and Jeff over Memorial Day weekend. Even though it was sprinkling the girls still had so much fun! Jake cruised around inside and got into everything... anyway - here are some cute pics from the bbq.

My little Dancer

ready for recital!
Cousin Kylie came to watch
SO PROUD of our big girl!!!
Her special teacher Miss Macie

Here she is (second from left)! Her class did a tap routine to 'Singing In The Rain'.... SOOOO PRECIOUS! I loved every minute of it, even curling her hair! :) Her teacher, Miss Macie is amazing and Emma just loves her.

Oh me, Oh my.

It's amazing how fast the time goes when you get busy doing something... so monday it hit me. MY BLOG! It's dying... ok. not really. And then last night Andrea said, update your blog, I've been checking it daily and nothing! ahhh... But this is not something I want to abandon. We have a *few* things going on on the home front that have taken absolute first priority and part of that has meant for the past month or so the computer has headed out the door with Aaron in the mornings. Bummer for me, but way more important for him to have right now so it's ok. When I have had the computer it has been spent doing photo editing as my photography has kinda taken off this month! YIPEE!!! To go from zero to five sessions in five weeks is exciting! More on that later... Anyway, so bare with me as we catch up! LOADS of pictures, but I'll have to start it out right with my baby girl's dance recital! So on to the catching up...
