1:13 AM

this is what I do late at night... or uh, early morning. It seems to be the only chance I get to sit and be creative without distraction. So, if it is between 1:13 am or not at all, I'll take my 1:13 am thank you.

he's back!

So I realized how Jake is missing in the posts lately - poor guy ;-) Anyway, today he and I played outside for quite some time while Emma napped. Snapped some pictures with some crazy lightening after the rain - and check out this shirt. There are some things I just can't resist (when they are on sale, of course) this is one of them. In case you can't quite see it, the shirt says 'big flirt' which is cute, but Jake wearing the shirt? Perfect. And why aren't there any pictures of Jake looking at the camera and smiling? Ha, just try to catch him these days - he's everywhere and in only a matter of seconds!

Seeing Art

I love the end of summer - not just because it promises the cooler days of fall, but for this fabulous city it means Art In The Park!!! The park is filled with hundreds if not thousands of vendors from all over the country. Anything from gigantic lawn art to hand made jewelry, from silk screened shirts to hammocks. And how can we forget the corn on the cob and ice cream potatoes? Yes, it's almost as good as the fair! Emma, Mom and I went on this outing and left the boys at home - we met up with Holly and ending up running into several other friends. They have a kid's tent where they have several crafts set up for the kids to do, so Em got to make a bracelet and a hanging butterfly. Good times!!

oh the pictures!

well, whew. I'm back :) After sorting through 2000 pictures and proofing almost 100 between all of the sessions, I'm BACK! Check out www.tinalelainephotography.blogspot.com to see the family sessions, 6 month old baby session, and two senior sessions that have had me up to my eyeballs in pictures! ahh but I love my Canon. My next goal is to get a back up camera and a third lens! I have three upcoming family sessions before mid october - so I will still be quite busy. I lovelovelove being a photographer - and never dreamed that I would be even where I am at right now, so THANK YOU to all my friends and family!

And in OTHER news.... Emma is STILL loving preschool and I am treasuring my three days a week where it is just Jake and I hanging out. Aaron is working hard for Nick right now and I'm still at the scrapbook store a few nights a week. Just this past weekend I was able to get back into scrapbooking and finished three layouts and two cards for a swap - yahoo!

Pictures and more updates to come soon! Oh, and some music changes too.... so check back later!

*poof*

Between proofing almost 1000 photographs (seriously) from two different photo shoots, and two more coming this weekend, a home show for le'laine boutique hair pretties thursday night, and OH that's right, my two kiddos, laundry, cooking, working in the evenings and life in general... I'm pooped! AND I'm {kinda sorta} short on time to get a few of these things wrapped up. SO let me disappear for a few short days to catch up on life. I'll be back with updates soon! (and more pictures of the kids) so here I go... *poof*

More Precious Family Time!

We had SUCH a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa D AND Auntie 'Prune' visiting!!! I know it's a long drive, so thanks for toughing it out! The girls loved their blankets that Great Grandma brought them, and they always love when she reads them books and tells them her stories.
We love and miss you already! Thanks for coming to visit!!!

with all the great grand babies!

And of course, goofing off with Auntie 'Prunie'!!

Playin' catch up!

from the fair... this is really the first year Emma has got it and LOVED it. The animals and the food, and THE RIDES! She has been talking about going on a roller coaster all summer, I'm not sure how that got started - but it has been driving us crazy! So when we got to the fair we scoped out the rides and picked a new(ish) clean and safe looking ride. I rode it with her first thinking she may be a little scared and who better to comfort her than me? I told her if she got scared she could hold on tight to me... yea right! She had her hands in the air and was screaming happy screams and had no intention of even hanging on. She is a true roller coaster enthusiast. Takes after her mommy ;-) however Aaron and I both decided the fair rides make us a little uneasy, so someday we will take her to Six Flags or something of the sort. Jake just took it all in, either Aaron or I had him in the hiking backpack and he just loved people watching... and of course the ice cream potato!! Can't go to the fair without getting one of those!
