a SURPRISE!

My mom turned the BiG 50 on saturday, and we threw her a surprise party. Andrea and I had been talking and planning for months, amazingly enough we pulled it off! The story that got her to the house was that we were all meeting to go to dinner as a family and she had NO idea that 20 of us were waiting to surprise her! The look on her face was priceless and of course my camera wasn't fast enough, but she gasped and jumped backwards about a foot and hid her face. The party was called 'Death by Chocolate' and it was just that. We had more truffles and cake than anyone could stomach, even a chocolate fountain for dipping strawberries, angel food cake and brownie bites. Thanks to everyone that helped us pull it off!

I love that theme, Tina! Way to go! Looks like it was a lot of fun! Who made the cake? I want to see a close-up of that!

Speaking of chocolate, have you had the dark chocolate-covered Altoids? They are quite tasty.

Have a great week friend! What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving? I'm thinking I have to get down to Tri-Cities over the weekend time before Christmas to see you and the kiddos for a bit. It could be my last chance before moving? We can talk about it!

Enjoy the holiday week! Love you guys!
